Description
Like most Hyundai cars, the Creta comes loaded with features. Depending on the variant, you can get a panoramic sunroof, a large touchscreen infotainment system, wireless phone charging, ventilated front seats, a Bose sound system, 360-degree camera and even paddle shifters in the automatic and IVT variants.
The Creta can seat five adults quite comfortably, with the rear seats featuring a reclining function for added comfort. The 433-litre boot space, though shallow, is still generous, making packing multiple small trolley bags for road trips a breeze. The seats can also be folded in a 60:40 split to create more room.
When it comes to mileage, the Creta isn’t as efficient as the Maruti Grand Vitara or the Toyota Hyryder owing to their smart hybrid engine tech. However, you can expect around 17.5 kmpl from the 1.5-litre petrol (both manual and automatic), almost 22 kmpl from the 1.5-litre diesel manual and 19 kmpl from the diesel automatic, while the turbo-petrol should give you 18.4 kmpl as well.
Standard safety features in the Creta include six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill-start assist, and front and rear parking sensors, among others. Higher variants also come equipped with Level 2 ADAS, which further enhances safety with features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and blind-spot detection.
